Pudgie is a Pit Bull Terrier that Dr. Judy rescued from South Carolina.  Pudgie was born with severe scoliosis and left to fend for herself in an outdoor pen.  Pudgie is a paraplegic and the breeders that had her wanted to drown her to end her precious life.  When Dr. Judy found her, she was severely malnourished, scared and covered with sores and filth.

After moving to Pan Equus Animal Sanctuary, Pudgie has responded well to medical care, much love, good food and her own indoor bed!  She has a tremendous passion for life and lives every day to the fullest!   We are so happy to have her here, in our care, and to witness her remarkable recovery.

Pudgie loves to have her head rubbed and can catch a dog biscuit or cookie better that any dog we've ever had!  In the picture above, Pudgie is paying a visit to the PEAS Horse Campers!
